Summer Concert 2014 - '21 Years of Song'

On Saturday 21st June 2014   at The Church of Christ the King , Stokes Singers presented an anniversary concert including favourite songs selected from each of our summer concert programmes since 1995. Included was a new song by our founding Musical Director, Nick Breeze, which was especially commissioned for this special occasion.

Musical Director Phillip Lawrence was joined by two past MDs, Nick Breeze and Sian Walters who each conducted a favourite number.  The programme of 21 songs included 'Poetry in Motion', 'Thank you for the Music', 'Unchained Melody', 'Bridge over Troubled Waters' as well as the specially commissioned 'Sing!'

Recordings of some numbers can be accessed via our Media Page.

Refereshments were sold during the interval with funds raised donated to the Alzheimer's Society.
